Day 01 :

Arrive Christchurch
Welcome to New Zealand!  A Settlers Tours Representative will be on hand to meet you at the Airport and arrange transportation to your Hotel.  Overnight accommodation  (2 nights).

Day 02 :

Christchurch / Kaikoura / Christchurch
This is a fantastic day trip for people who love the sea and marine mammals, and is full of variety for everyone to enjoy. Your tour takes you from Christchurch City, through beautiful rural pastoral scenes, along the coast to Kaikoura, where you will be transferred to a Whale Watch tour.  After your encounter with the giants of the sea, return to Kaikoura for lunch (can be pre-booked as an optional extra), and travel back to Christchurch via a fur seal colony and a Canterbury vineyard. 

Day 03 :

Christchurch / Mt Cook
Travelling across the Canterbury Plains into the MacKenzie Country.  View the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Collie Dog statue at Lake Tekapo  before continuing to Mt Cook National Park. Optional Mountain Flight or just relax and enjoy the surrounding Mountains.

Day 04 :

Mt Cook / Wanaka
Pass by pristine lakes and forests. Traverse the Lindis  before climbing alongside lofty peaks and cascading waterfalls. Descending to Otago hug the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea and over the mighty Clutha River to arrive in the alpine village of Wanaka on the shores Lake Wanaka.

Day 05 :
Wanaka / Queenstown
Today morning is at leisure. You could visit puzzling world by own or You could enjoy either alaunch cruise across the lake to Stevensons Island, a nature reserve, for a bush walk followed by refreshments. A thrilling jet boatexcursion on the river tailored to suit - full on exciting, leisurely scenic cruising. In the Afternoon Drive through a picturesque region that has a fascinating history of early settlement and an area steeped in fascinating history relating to early settlement and the goldmining era. Cross the Kawarau Gorge before reaching the popular resort of Queenstown. Accommodation (3 nights).
Day 06 :

A full day to explore the many delights of this alpine resort at your leisure.  We can happily advise on the many optional sightseeing and recreational activities avail Enjoy spectacular views over Queenstown and the surrounding mountains from the gondola. We recommend the world famous Shotover Jet Boat ride, Bunjee jump, Sky Diving, Hot Baloon Ride or cruise across the lake aboard the steamship Earnslaw, to the Colonel’s Homestead at Walter Peak Sheep Station. Alternatively browse in the many shops and galleries - the choice is yours.

Day 07 :

Queenstown / Milford Sound / Queenstown
Follow the lake to Kingston, across fertile farmlands to Fiordland. Visit moody Lake Manapouri then, Lake Te Anau. Follow the Eglinton Valley, native forests, lakes, waterfalls and towering mountains. Travel through the Hollyford Valley and Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. A launch cruise takes you to the open sea and the Bowen and Stirling Falls. Return to Queenstown for your overnight accommodation.

Day 08 :

Queenstown / Rotorua
Depart for  Queenstown airport for your flight to Rotorua. Rest of the day free for leisure, shoping, optional boating on the lake etc. (2 Nights)

Day 09 :

Visit Rotorua's leading attractions and experience the scenic beauty, history and culture of Rotorua.  Combine the  Morning Tour and the  Afternoon Tour to experience a full day tour of Rotorua including seeing boiling mud pools and mighty geysers at Whakarewarewa. During your guided tour of the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute you will see demonstrations of Maori carving and weaving. The Paradise valley Springs offers a unqiue showcase of native flora and fauna while the Agrodome Sheep Show is an entertaining 'hands on' experience - an animated insight into New Zealand farming.  Enjoy some free time in Rotorua to shop and have lunch (own expense). Optional Gondola and the entry to Famous Polynesian Spa.

Day 10 :
Rotorua / Waitomo / Auckland
Cross the Mamaku Ranges to the Waikato region, noted for dairy farming and world famous horse studs.  At Waitomo, a guide will escort your group underground to the limestone caverns and glow worm grotto.  On through Hamilton to Ngaruawahia, centre for the region’s Maori people, then alongside the Waikato River before crossing the Bombay Hills to reach New Zealand’s largest city - Auckland. Two Nights in  accommodation.
Day 11 :

A city sights tour will include the Waterfront Drive, downtown area and a visit to Kelly Tarltons.  Journey beneath the waterfront to a sub-terranean world where penguins parade in a wonderland of ice and snow, whole sharks, giant eels, stingrays and scores of shimmering fish swim the ocean like depths of the giant aquariums.

Day 12 :
Auckland / Home
Today it is good-bye to your new found friends.  You will be transferred to Auckland Airport in ample time to join your flight.
